Oral & Written Comm II

Credit: 3 hours.

Continuation of Oral & Written Comm I; stress on deliberation and fundamentals of communication and public argument through speaking and writing. The campus rhetoric requirement is fulfilled by this course in conjunction with SPCM 111

Credit is not given for both SPCM 111 - SPCM 112 and other courses that fulfill the Composition I requirement (i.e., RHET 100; RHET 101 and RHET 102; RHET 103 and RHET 104; RHET 105; RHET 108; ESL 114 and ESL 115). Credit is also not given for both SPCM 111 - SPCM 112 and SPCM 101. SPCM 111 - SPCM 112 may not be taken by students who have completed the University's Composition I requirement. Prerequisite: SPCM 111.

All sections are restricted to Undergraduate students. Engineering students must obtain a dean's approval to drop this course after the second week of instruction.
