SOCW 500
Spring 2007 All Classes
Credit: 4 hours.
Systematic and critical examination of procedures, and of selected practice models within four main approaches to social work: cognitive-behavioral, systemic (family and ecological systems, crisis intervention), task-centered, and radical-structural (structural, feminist). The course uses Kettner's framework for analyzing and assessing those models, examines outcome research, and identifies current practice issues.
