Origins and development of groups in promoting and resisting change, resource mobilization, strategies and tactics, individual and social consequences.

3 undergraduate hours. 2 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: SOC 100 or six hours of anthropology, social geography, political science, or sociology.
