Viewing History Through Film, 2 hours. What can we learn about history from film? Is film any good at portraying history? In this course we will discuss the connections between film and history. The class will view about seven films and will read about the historical events these films depic. First Year Discovery Program Course. Registration restricted to freshmen. Students should enroll in only one Discovery course.
