Seminar with readings, lectures, discussions on ideas and issues affecting contemporary art. Attendance is required at visiting artists' and scholars' lectures and field trips.

May be repeated to a maximum of 6 hours. Prerequisite: Junior standing in Fine and Applied Arts or consent of instructor.
