Introduction to Surgery

Surgical principles including sterile technique, hemostasis, tissue handling, and wound healing with emphasis on clinical application in domestic animals; laboratory covers demonstrations and practice of surgical principles.

Prerequisite: Third year standing in veterinary medicine curriculum.
