Study of industrial control techniques by case studies of actual industrial systems; provides competence in the design, selection, and maintenance of industrial control systems; and introduces applications to electromechanical, pneumatic, thermal, and hydraulic systems.

Credit is not given for both ME 460 and ECE 486. Prerequisite: ME 340 and ME 360.
