Buildings, Land and Culture
Credit: 3 hours.
Introduction to the study of the ordinary landscape and its representation in the common media. Investigates ordinary places as indicators of cultural values and beliefs, and why they look and function in certain ways. Topics approached through historical accounts and thematic analysis. Same as ARCH 215.
