Credit: 3 hours.
Theory and practice in the elements, processes and principles of design divided into three, five-week workshops on the topics of: Materials/Crafts, survey fabrication techniques in various physical media; Color, study the visual, material and psychological/emotional nature of color; Communication, problems in communication using primarily digital media.
This course is open to Art and Design Majors only.
In addition to scheduled studio times, assignments require a minimum of 3 additional hours per week. In addition to the Class Materials Fee listed with each section, there is a Facilities Fee of $70.
