Directed independent creative activity or research.

May be repeated to a maximum of 6 hours. Prerequisite: Junior standing in Art and Design; and consent of instructor, advisor, and associate director of the School.

A contract must be completed & approved by the instructor & advisor. Note: Must be Junior. 3.3 GPA, & only 6 hours total Ind. Study. Variable Materials Charge and Facilities Charges, please check class schedule.

This course allows UIUC students to complement knowledge attained in classrooms and studios with physical experience of unique spaces, art works, cultural phenomena, businesses and institutions.
