Study of a selection of the major writings of the more important existential philosophers, e.g., Heidegger, Jaspers, and Sartre.

3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: One course in philosophy (preferably PHIL 325 or PHIL 411), or consent of instructor.
