Principles of sampling, treatment assignment, and statistical analysis applied to biomedical experiments; major emphasis include sample size determination, dose-response functions, single and multifactor designs, randomized blocks and repeated measures, and analysis of covariance.
Same as IB 591. Prerequisite: CPSC 440 or IB 488 or IB 490, CHLH 590, or PATH 591, or consent of instructor.
