Epidemiology Infectious Dis

Credit: 3 hours.

Ecology of infection and disease; spread of disease and modes of transmission; methods of control; socioeconomic consideration; selected diseases: malaria, Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, schistosomiasis, salmonellosis, pseudorabies, AIDS. Student presentations.

Same as CHLH 516. Prerequisite: Epidemiology class (PATH 650, CHLH 474 or equivalent), or consent of instructor.
