Introductory survey of Indo-European languages and their mutual relations; exemplification of methods of reconstruction; principles of comparative phonology and introductory survey of morphology; and discussion of theories about the original home, culture, and society of the Indo-Europeans. Same as GRK 410, and LAT 410. 3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Fulfillment of the language requirement of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
