PERSONAL FINANCIAL PLANNING - Meets 1/18/06 thru 3/15/06. Open to Juniors & Seniors only. Some seats reserved for Finance majors. A survey of the financial planning process and industry, this course covers investment, tax, insurance, and retirement planning. Applicable to those interested in creating a sound personal financial plan early in one's working career and those interested in becoming a financial planner. A special emphasis is put on real-world solution: Asset allocation, spreadsheets, Monte Carlo simulations, etc. (This course is cross-listed with LAS 199, section JM, CRN 41167.)
