Biomonitoring
Credit: 3 hours.
Discusses the theory and application of biomonitoring as a component of environmental management; reviews a range of techniques to analyze effluents and assess condition and trend in the environment, using biological and ecological systems; and emphasizes biomonitoring program design, selection and analysis of data, and interpretation of biomonitoring results. Prerequisite: CEE 430.
