Advanced study of the history and techniques of hand bookbinding. Variations on binding structures and emphasis on creative expression through mixed media, collage, painting, photography, and writing. Field trips to book collections.

Prerequisite: ARTS 200, and Junior standing in Art and Design or consent of instructor. 3 Undergraduate Hours. 4 Graduate Hours.
