Credit: 4 hours.

Financial planning and counseling philosophies, techniques, and procedures with application to individuals and families in various life cycle stages and family structures. Course will use case studies, problem-solving activities, educational exhibit preparation and participation. A financial counseling clinic will focus on debt management and retirement planning.

Prerequisite: ACE 245 and junior standing or consent of instructor; FIN 230 or FIN 232 and FIN 434 are recommended.
