Thinking About Physics
Credit: 1 hours.
Course is designed for students who want to prepare for PHYS 211 by improving their conceptual and problem solving skills. Students will learn to analyze physical situations, describe them mathematically, and understand the meaning of the solutions. Examples will be drawn from material that will be covered in PHYS 211. Students may register for PHYS 100 and PHYS 211 concurrently. Prerequisite: Credit or concurrent registration in either MATH 220 or MATH 221; or consent of the instructor.
