Introduction to environmental and economic aspects of the occurrence and movement of groundwater through the earth's crust; topics include the hydrologic cycle, groundwater contamination, petroleum migration, formation of mineral resources, and groundwater chemistry.

Prerequisite: MATH 220 or MATH 221; concurrent registration in either (i) CHEM 104 and CHEM 105 or (ii) CHEM 203 and CHEM 204; or consent of instructor.
