Calculus of Several Variables

Credit: 3 hours.

Third course in calculus and analytic geometry: three dimensional space, functions of several variables, partial derivatives, and multiple integrals.

Credit is not given for both MATH 242 and MATH 243. Prerequisite: MATH 230.

Students must register for one discussion and one lecture section. Engineering students must obtain a dean's approval to drop this course after the second week of instruction.
