Topic: The Artist Book. Location: Oaxaca, Mexico. This is an intensive 3 week course that offers participants a unique opportunity to travel and study in the city/state of Oaxaca de Juarez and the surrounding regions. Utilizing the ancient Mixtec picture manuscripts as a focus to research aspects of visual literacy, historical, and cultural information class time will consist of lectures, travel and studio components.
