(NUTRS 461) Basic pathophysiological changes associated with major organ system failure and appropriate nutritional support and treatment. Provides medical orientation needed for participating in medical nutritional rounds.

Same as FSHN 520. May be repeated in the same term to a maximum of 4 hours. Prerequisite: Upper division course in physiology and a course in clinical nutrition.
