(I E 340) Biomechanical concepts and principles that underlie manual work. Contemporary tools and methods for measuring human physical attributes, evaluating human mechanical capabilities, and modeling human musculoskeletal system or subsystems. Applications of concepts, principles, data, and models to the design of work situations for the purposes of improving human performance and preventing musculoskeletal traumas and disorders. Prerequisite: IE 340; or TAM 210 and 212; or consent of instructor
