Herbicide Action in Plants

Credit: 4 hours.

(CPSC 426) Study of various chemicals used to inhibit plant growth, including their uptake, translocation, mode of action, metabolism and resistance mechanisms in plants; and the relationship of chemical structure to the environmental fate of herbicides.

Offered in alternate years. Prerequisite: CPSC 426 and CPSC 484.
