(CLCIV 116) Introduces Roman civilization through the study of the social and cultural life of ancient Rome. Shares two hours of lecture with CLCV 112; additional hour of lecture-discussion for a closer analysis of topics.

Credit is not given for both CLCV 116 and CLCV 112.
