(A A E 426) Review of the manufacturing methods for polymer-matrix composite materials; analysis of fiber processing techniques, interfacial treatments, and composites fabrication methods; analytical treatment of process modeling including heat transfer, cure kinetics, resin flow, and residual stresses. A term project is required.

Same as ME 555 and TAM 526. Prerequisite: AE 428.
