(SLAV 377) Examines masterpieces of Czech, Polish, and Yugoslav literatures from medieval times to the present in English translation. Representative works are by Capek, Kundera, Mickiewicz, Milosz, Andric and others. Attention given to the European context and national traditions.

Same as CWL 277. Prerequisite: One course in Slavic literature.
