(MATSE 346) In this course the mechanical, chemical and thermal behavior of different classes of materials (metals, ceramics, polymers and composites) will be compared and contrasted. Consideration of the trade-offs in selecting materials for specific applications will be considered and exemplified by case studies

3 undergraduate hours. No graduate credit. Credit is not given to students in MSE. Prerequisite: TAM 206; or TAM 210 and TAM 251.
