(HRE 485) Covers developments in cognitive- based research as they relate to the design and implementation of technical instruction. Through readings, discussions, and projects, students gain an understanding of how people learn complex information, how skills are developed, and how instructors can better guide their students toward the development of expertise

Prerequisite: Basic course in psychology of learning or consent of instructor
