(ARTED 201) Philosophical and practical foundations for teaching art in early childhood settings. Lectures, discussions and class activities focus on the value of art in the curriculum, artistic development and instruction, observation and guided teaching practice.

Not open to art majors. Prerequisite: ART 140.
