(ANTH 380) Focus on recent developments in symbolic and interpretive anthropology; topics covered include writing the ethnographic text, subject-object relations, critical reflection on fieldwork, construction of the self, dialogism, practice, performance, narrative, power, and representation.

Prerequisite: ANTH 421 and ANTH 463, or similar courses in anthropology, the social sciences, or the humanities, and consent of instructor.
