(SOC 224) Explores concepts of colonization, international labor migration, race, nation, assimilation, and class formation through socio-historical examinations of diverse groups in Hawai'i presently categorized as Asian Americans.

Same as AAS 224. Prerequisite: SOC 100 or a course in Asian American Studies is recommended.
