(RUSS 344) Study of major authors of the romantic period, with the inclusion of several lesser authors, such as Mikhail Lermontov. Historical background, textual analysis, and connections with Western European romanticism.

Same as CWL 444. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Offered in alternate years. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
