Presents concepts of biocompatibility in terms of structure and properties of materials and interactions between materials and proteins, cells, and tissue. Lectures are augmented with clinical presentations
Credit is not given for both MSE 470 and MSE 471. Prerequisite: MSE 406; credit or concurrent registration in MCB 252; or consent of instructor
