(GER 470) Critical introduction to the enterprise of reading, accompanied by an overview of this century's most important theories of literature and criticism.
Same as CWL 570. May be repeated to a maximum of 12 hours if topics vary. Prerequisite: GER 510 or equivalent, and reading knowledge of German, English, and one other modern European language.
