(A A E 316) Two-dimensional and finite wing theory with emphasis on the mechanisms of lift and drag generation; Reynolds number and Mach number effects; drag analysis; high-lift wing systems; propeller and rotor aerodynamics; control surface design; and application of V/STOL aerodynamics.
3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: AE 311 or equivalent; or consent of instructor.
