PHYCS 210. Introductory Relativity

Examines the consequences of Einstein's postulates for space and time; relativistic momentum and energy: E=mc2; the equivalence principle, gravity, and the spacetime viewpoint of general relativity; the relativistic unity of electric and magnetic fields.

Prerequisite: Concurrent registration in PHYCS 102 or PHYCS 107.
2 hours. Credit given for both PHYCS 210 and PHYCS 225. (Offered in Fall semester only).
