PHYCS 417. Lie Groups and Their Physical Applications
Introduces Lie groups with emphasis on concepts and applications to physics problems; includes finite groups, three dimensional rotation groups, classification and representation of Lie groups, integrations, and applications to particle, nuclear, and condensed matter physics.
Prerequisite: PHYCS 480 or consent of instructor.
