PHYCS 415. Introduction to Continuum Mechanics
Basic information on stress, strain, and waves in an elastic solid, the Euler and Navier Stokes equations, potential flow, vortex theory, viscous flows, gas dynamics, characteristics, and shock waves.
Prerequisite: Concurrent registration in PHYCS 411 and PHYCS 412, or equivalent.
