GEOL 439. Carbonate Sedimentology
Study of genesis and diagenesis of carbonate sediments covering: carbonate deposition, coordination of ultrastructural-petrographic properties and elemental-isotopic composition, nature and environments of diagenetic changes, and temporal trends in carbonates.
Prerequisite: GEOL 320 and GEOL 336, or equivalent; or consent of instructor.
