DANCE 269. Music Literature for Dancers
Basic analysis of representative pieces from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern periods, emphasizing music of the twentieth century.
Students learn to recognize general stylistic characteristics of each period and to understand dance forms related to the music.
Prerequisite: DANCE 168 or equivalent, and consent of instructor.
