CHEM 448. Chemical Kinetics
Theoretical and experimental topics in chemical kinetics and chemical dynamics; topics include relation between rates and mechanisms of chemical reactions, collision theory of reaction rates, activated complex theory, theory of unimolecular processes, classical dynamics of reactive scattering, elastic scattering, quantum theory of inelastic scattering or equivalent curve crossing processes, and experimental methods.
Prerequisite: CHEM 344.
