Credit: 3 hours.
This course satisfies the General Education Criteria for a
Hist&Philosoph Perspect, Non-Western Cultures, and Western Compartv Cult course.Survey of the leading living religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; examination of basic texts and of philosophic theological elaborations of each religion. Same as PHIL 110. This course can be used to fulfill either Western or Nonwestern general education categories, but not both.
