Intermediate Fluid Mechanics

Credit: 4 hours.
Analytical solution methods for problems involving ideal and real fluids: potential flow theory, boundary-layer theory; surface waves, vortex dynamics, and compressible flows. Prerequisite: One of TAM 335, ME 310, AE 312; MATH 241 (formerly MATH 243) or MATH 380.
