This course satisfies the General Education Criteria for a
UIUC Social Sciences course.(LIS 201) Explores the way in which organizations collect, process, and exchange information, the technologies they use to handle information, and the organizational, technological and societal factors that affect information processing goals. Same as COMM 201. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing.
Open to undergraduates of sophomore standing or above.
